A registered non-profit development organisation working in rural Bangladesh since 1998.

Who we are

Integrated Rural Development Center (IRDC) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit voluntary social development organisation, founded in 1998 and based in Savar, Dhaka. It works across 7 districts of Bangladesh in health, water and sanitation, environmental sustainability, women’s empowerment, disability inclusion and rural livelihoods.

IRDC is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau under the Prime Minister’s Office and with the Social Service Directorate. Since 2010 it has engaged with 35+ international conferences and forums.

Structure and accountability

General Committee

Seven members elected for three years; meets quarterly and is responsible for overall management.
