Executive Director
Md. Mokbul Hossain
Md. Mokbul Hossain has been Executive Director of IRDC since its founding in 1998. With over four decades in development work — including leadership of Purbasha Juba Shangha from 1984 to 1999 — he brings sustained experience in community development, health programmes, climate advocacy and SDG implementation.
Since 2010 he has represented IRDC and Bangladesh at 35+ international conferences and forums convened by the United Nations, UN ESCAP, the Asian Development Bank and global SDG bodies.

Deputy Executive Director
Md. Mosarof Hossain
Md. Mosarof Hossain serves as Deputy Executive Director, providing technical leadership and strategic support across IRDC’s programmes. He works with the Executive Director on programme delivery, institutional strengthening and alignment with IRDC’s mission of sustainable rural development.
